It all began when I wanted to do something meaningful for the pastors of the church I grew my faith in after they lost their baby boy, Gabriel Godwin at 17 weeks. I wanted to go beyond writing a short message in a card and show how much I appreciated all they have poured into my life. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I created an art piece that I didn't realize would impact not only them, but also my future and help reveal my purpose.
Refined Pastures is a ministry that goes beyond words of comfort on a card. Based on Psalm 23, this ministry uses art to help people as they navigate through different journeys of grief.
